I was reading a column in the newspaper at the weekend and noticed that one of the names had changed halfway through. And there was a very famous case in a book years ago where the heroine's name changed halfway through the story - can't remember the author or book but it does give the impression of things being rushed through without checking. In the case of my Kidnapped cover I'm guessing that they couldn't find a contemporary looking picture with a woman with red hair. They use real paintings for the covers and so would probably have ended up out of period with some pre-Raphaelite girl LOL!Nicola Cornickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12916076219284821820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974614945447984069.post-63814365466261994282009-09-05T00:36:50.788+01:002009-09-05T00:36:50.788+01:00I always find it slightly alarming when certain pu...I always find it slightly alarming when certain publishers (who shall remain nameless, lol) can't get the characters names right on the cover blurb. And I'm happy that they've dropped the sub-title "His Innocent Mistress." She wasn't.
